Power to the van.
I purchased from Amazon a 240 volt inlet cap at a cost of £8 and a circuit breaker that I managed to source free of charge.kitchen area, I cut a hole in the side of the van using the cap as a template and fitted the inlet cap easier than I thought. I then spurred the inlet cable into the breaker and fitted ONE single into the seating area and ONE double socket into the kitchen work area at last I had power.
I decided to fit 12 volt LED strip lighting that I had bought for my shed. The LED strips run on very low power 12 volts and approximate 0.4 amps. The original caravan ceiling light power cables were still fitted to the van, I reconnected them to the ZIG power control unit fitted some new fuses connected the 2nd hand 60 amp hour leisure battery that I managed to pick up for £20 on Gumtree I now had a excellent light system running on 12 volts.
